Judicial Review
Judicial review is a legal process by which people and companies can, in certain specific circumstances, challenge decisions by government, local authorities and other bodies who exercise public functions.
Kerseys have solicitors experienced in this area.
We also have experience of statutory homelessness appeals which follow a procedure and legal principles akin to judicial review.
Often a complainant has to pursue a formal complaint before embarking upon judicial review (depending on the type of complaint). In those circumstances we can also advise and assist you on the complaints process.
When judicial review action has to be taken, it has to be taken very promptly. Actions are usually barred after 3 months maximum from the decision which is being judicially reviewed.
