Legal Advice to the Elderly
We offer a range of services for elderly clients, including the following:-
- advice on the long-term implications of care and its effects on a person’s estate
- the making of Lasting Powers of Attorney (“LPAs”)
- the making of Wills
Furthermore, we offer advice and assistance to persons whose loved ones no longer have the mental capacity to make an LPA.
In this situation, we can assist in the process of making application to the Court of Protection for the appointment of someone (known as a Deputy) to manage the loved one’s property and affairs and/or aspects of the loved one’s personal welfare.
